We are lucky to have one of the best Crown Green Bowling facilities in the area.  All members of the club are free to use the green when competitive games are not being played, you will need to provide your own bowls, jack and mat if you want to play. Suitable flat soled footwear should also be worn  at all times when on the green.  We have our own toilet and tea/coffee making facilities in the bowls shed for times when the main Club building is closed.

In addition to members who chose to play socially we have 48 members who compete on behalf of the Club in various local leagues.  We have a total of 9 competitive teams, a breakdown of when they play can be found below.  As our green is highly regarded we host a number of Cup Finals, Staffordshire County and Charity games throughout the bowls season.  Details of these fixtures will be shared with you as they are announced.

We have a pleasant seating area adjacent to the bowling green so if you don’t want to play but fancy spectating you can sit outside and watch while enjoying a drink or two!

We are delighted to have a number of local businesses who sponsor our bowls teams.  They help us to meet the costs of maintaining the bowling green and surrounding spectator areas, their support is vital and something we are extremely grateful for.
